I need to convert a pdf document into HTML with the images. Is there any simple way to do this?

There is an online thingamajig at Adobe you can try. (no images though, you'd have to put those back after)
Can be, sometimes their system gets bogged down.
You don't happen to have Acrobat (not just reader), do you? That will save to HTML
Oo, I forgot about those! Yeah, the Adobe trials should give you full function for the month.

I just downloaded it Acrobat onto a PC and did it but the problem is that it is not the same layout in HTML.
Is there anyway to get the same layout?

Not necessarily... layouts can get too complex for HTML/CSS to handle. Yeah. They can.
Convert PDF to HTML
I am very much in need of the same thing, a basic utility to convert PDF files to HTML.
I don't have a complicated layout, but I have thousands of files, small PDF files, that I need to convert to HTML to upload them to the Web. I can't do these manually, it would take weeks (or months).
I found dozens of PDF to HTML utilities for Windows but can't seem to find anything cost-effective for the Mac (this is a one-time deal and I don't have a big budget so I can't afford and don't need software that does sophisticated conversion of complex pages).
Since there are so few of these apps for the Mac am I missing something? Is there another way to do it?

It's deskUNPDF and it can convert to Office, image, Web, data, and other formats. The output from my files (which weren't complicated files) was very good and it's very quick, so it seems to do the job well, but it's $69.95, reasonable for all the features, but overkill for my onetime, one-format project and the trial limits you to a few conversions. I have to do thousands.

Well, I figure out a way to do it fast w/o purchasing any products. I was trying to convert an pdf ebook to html format so that Stanza could read the spacing properly.
1. Convert PDF file to text file using Acrobat Reader or any program similiar. Just save it as a text file, no need for pro or extended versions of reader.
2. Open TextEdit.app, open up the text file you've created, copy/paste whole thing to a new document window.
- Open Preferences in TextEdit
- Go to the "Open/Save" Tab
- Change Document Type to HTML Strict or XHTML strict depending on your needs. In Styling, select No CSS.
- Go back and save the new document now as a html file.
