Just had Powerbook screen replaced, need some assistance.

My 2.5 year old 17" Powerbook just had its screen replaced under Applecare. It seems brighter than the old one. I would imagine it is a newer screen because the old ones are no longer in production. How can I find out the specs of my new screen?
