Hi,

On the 15" Powerbook, is the USB set up 1.0 or 2.0??? If it is 1.0 and I want to run some 2.0 USB items, can I use a usb 2.0 PCMCIA card (does mac have such a slot) ?? Or are there enough firewire products that I won't have to worry about it???

Is there a firewire hub out there, like usb hubs???

Firewire hubs exist, and there are plenty of firewire products. USB 2.0 is nice cause its fast and backwards compatible. I would assume such a card exists, but I haven't looked into.

USB 1.1 (1.0) will run USB 2.0 gear

you just wont have the 2.0 bandwidth available...

yes you can get a usb 2.0 pccard for your 15" pb. Check out www.powerbook1.com
they have anything you'll ever need for your power book. note the 12" does not have a pccard slot.
