i know his real name is verne troyer, but not a lot of people know his real name :p
besides it wouldn't sound as good if it said "verne troyer to wed his 6'2" girlfriend" because half the people reading it wouldn't really have a clue as to who verne troyer is.

This isn't going to last. She's already ditched him once for someone taller according to the article. She's definitely hot though... what am I doing wrong?

Yeah I guess, maybe, you are right.

Wow, talk about opposites. Sounds like its more publicity than anything else.

Any bets as to how long it lasts? Weirdness....

Hmmm, I think you are doing the not being internationally recognized, not starring in 2 (or was it 3) major motion pictures, and not fairly wealthy wrong. Just change those three things and you have got it. :p

i'm not too optimistic about this marriage...hope i'm wrong.

i dated a girl who was 6' 2" ( and a 1/2"...) for quite a few years...i'm 6' tall so it wasn't too weird. but when she'd wear heels that made her 6' 6"...now that was kinda strange.

of course when she was that tall it was quite nice to hug her if you get my drift...;)

She went back to him because of Mini-Me's money. Plain and simple.

I think that is a little mean to put is gently.

Are you anti-midget or something?

You can tell them apart from babies in 1 sec flat.

I don't know - I don't expect he's all that rich...

Now THAT'S a rumor worth mulling! After all, he IS in Apple commercials...and Mr. Troyer was quite good in a Boston Public episode where his love interest was, well...talk about opposites attracting!

(oh, btw, the polite term in use today for Dwarfism is "Little Person". My friend Shelby is a Little Person...she teaches Kindergarten...you can IMAGINE how much the kids love her!)

That's not the point. Troyer is probably either the most famous person she's dated, or just the only famous guy who wants to get married to her.

He get's a ton of attention everywhere he goes and...has MUCH more potential to get her the attention she craves than some common no fame male stripper.

She sowed her oats and realized it wasn't the best move for her career.

Sadly, she's probably the hottest chick willing to cross the line with him, and he's so smitten that he doesn't have the strength to kick her to the curb.

well someone did mention media stunts the other day...I believe it was D...

anyway...this screams it to me...just an opinion...

reminds me of when Anna Nicole Smith married the walking skeleton with billions of dollars...

maybe it's just me...but I don't trust most people's motives for doing things...

It is sort of sad, actually. I married a 6' 1.5" woman, being 6' 2" myself works out nicely ;)

I wish them happiness, but given the articles info it seems that there are already issues. Maybe if there was some more info on how they met, etc.

It will make for a very interesting Biography in a few years. Anyone ever watch that show? They do some really good research into the subjects.

I wish verne all the best. I pray that this marriage will bring long lasting happiness for both of them. We should rejoyce in a fellow Mac fans happiness. Hopefully this will also keep him away from alcohol!

Hope he signed on for some of the back end profits and not just a flat salary.

BTW, saw this story on Daily Show with John Stewart last night. They had a picture of him and her standing next to each other. He litterally came up to just past her knee.

The funny part of the layout was that most of their parts that eye mentions 0https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32920) are bigger than his head. I found it quite comical actually
