Combining movies using QuickTime Pro

I'm trying to combine movies using quicktime pro (v. 7.16) But its not working.

I've already looked at the apple manual page:

docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=QuickTime+Player/7.0/en/c3qt3.html

Every time I "select all", the "copy" option is greyed out.

Any ideas??
