I just want to edit a MP3... Can I use Garage Band?

Basically, I just want to Take a simple song, and Edit it.

I want to use My MacBook Pro, and a M-Audio Oxygen 2 Keyboard... Can I do this with garage band?

Audacity can certainly do it and it's free, but I've never used Garageband so that may work too.

My Ultimate goal is to remix Video game music lol but I have no recording expirace whatso ever. I just want to start... I figure I already have a Mac, and Garage Band... I just need a Keyboard and I will be all good.

by keyboard....you mean MIDI keyboard right? cuz that's what cha need

Yeah, deffinatly. Any recommendations? I am just getting it to fudge around... so I dont need to spend too much.

try and find an M-Audio Oxygen 8 (the first version)

they make version 2 now, and it's great, but I bet you could find version 1 on e-bay for a nice price. Like under 100 beans
