OMG<----------- haha!

What made you do do that? Looks alright though. What did you paint it with? How do you think the durability will be?

yes- can you please describe the process of switching- I have been waiting on this to become available for a gift to a friend. He is kinda finicky though, so I want to make sure it wont damage the phone or he wont use it.

actually... Looks better in real life..

actually....Looks better in real life.. ...

but i did it because everyone has the same looking iphone so i wanted something different...

switch was a pain in the ass... if you want to do this.. be prepared to lose $600 if you break it... i wasn't worried about breaking it because for me, i work on cars.. put in my own brembo brakes and coilover suspension system on BMWs, so i like to mess with things....

but process was alright for me once i figure it out...
did it in about 3 hours...

For those of you worried about warranty service on the phone remember that this MOD might void your warranty since you are taking the phone apart.

With that said, it looks really nice.....

What about it takes three hours? I know the case itself comes off pretty easy. Was it moving the parts that are attached to the case that is time consuming?

This is nice though, especially since they have the OEM one, makes me feel less paranoid about having it naked.

Now if only someone would make a chrome bezel replacement.

Thanks for the photos!

I read about this when the iPhone first came out. Is the case actually metal or plastic?

U2?

Do they sell a back with all the signatures from U2? That's the one I would want.

Let's face it!

I have to admit, it really looks nice.

But let's face it, could have made the back all black if they wanted, but I'm sure there would have been many complaints about the look. Then there would be a mad dash to buy a brushed metal one!

Inquiring minds need to know. What was the blue clue in the end? (Or at least what did you use).
