its been 2 years since the purchase of my 600mhz iBook, and it has had its fair share of whare and tare...it has a DVD drive that wont close, a screen with a nice permenant smudge due to the the space bar..and plenty of scratches. Its been to 5 states and 2 countries and i think its bout time i retired it. I am getting a new iBook.

What should i do with it?...I could sell it...modify it some how...im not sure...

what would you recommend i do with it.

You could sell it or you could put it in a closet and donate it to folding.

[edit] Darn, someone already beat me to the folding suggestion.[/edit]

Here are step-by-step instructions to see what you should do:

1) Set the iBook down on the table.
2) Set $600 next to it.
3) Imagine the iBook as it will be when your mods are done.
4) Take whichever one calls out to you.

Personally, I'd sell and put it toward the new laptop. Maybe, with the budget you already have, you can go PowerBook.
