launching app at startup

I am running 10.2 server, and want to have an app lauch during startup. Is there a way I can have an app launch but no one logged in? I need to have a program for my dynamic dns (no-ip.com), but I don't want to leave the server logged into a user.

thanks,
kevin

Cron Jobs can automatically schedule jobs on a UNIX system.

I've never set one up so I've included a link to an O'Reilly article which gives the basics.

Cron is already up & running on OSX server, so all you need to do is configure it.

Look for a program called DNSUpdate. You can configure it, in its preferences dialog, to run its daemon at startup.
