Is dell worth it for 1299 Canadian or is apple 30" still best

I have the sales agent to drop the price from Dell Display. it was orriginally at 17999 but I got him to lower it to 1299 because i was threating him that apple is better.


Anyway, What do you think? Im lookin on getting on by end of the night today.
 
Well, you will get a slightly more accurate picture with the Apple Cinema Display. But with the Dell that cheap you should probably just get that and calibrate it.
 
Try to look for what panels they use, I know that Dell dropped from 8-bit panels to 6-bit panels some time ago, but I'm not sure what's case with 30" model, and of course, trust your own eyes, go to a store and check the viewing angles etc. There's no point of buying a screen blindfolded...
