Partition won't mount or be formatted?

I have a 32GB Partition that I want to use. But I can't seem to do anything with it.

Any ideas, clicking mount does nothing, and I can't 'restore' images onto either.

Bit stumped?

I want to 'restore' a disk image (.dmg) onto it, but I can't access it at all, let alone do that!

Maybe somebody knows a terminal command or something that can help me

Yup, even so it asked for my password, then did nothing...
