Although its a very nicely done job - I'm wondering why, other than the fact the he *could* do it, why it was done. He's still got a G4 in there

Ah, Give the Guy a Break!

Mr. Anderson: I for one admire the imagination, creativity and painstaking effort and detail that went to this project. So what if it isn't a G5? It is not an exact case replica. It also does not look a G4; what he has is a true original and different machine. And it looks like fun! i would do that to my tower if i had some extra time. I think i will mod my iBook first.

I would have used some other color metal. You're not going to be able to make it look as clean as a G5 (whether you like the design or not) so why not take it in another direction?

I like it. It probably took a long time to make, but it looks cool.
