Only one company got it right though
It's very simple, sell music that you can do have control over just like the CD you buy.
Why would I buy a song unless I can put it on my iPod or burn it to a CD and listen to it in my car.
http://www.paidcontent.org/ Peter Lowe from Apple,
stated that the only way to stop most music stealing is to compete with it. For a small charge of $.99 per song you get a good quality, intact and at consistant song that you can do what you want to with. I for one use iTMS and love it and it seems to be the only service that has it right.
