Vendors ignore Apple's iMac Price Hike
I recently purchased an iMac after finding what i thought was a great deal (800mhz model 512mb ram ~30% off apple's inflated price). As I was browsing Insanely Great Mac I came across this article that seemed to indicate that many vendors are not only ignoring Apple's inflated price but throwing in all sorts of extras.
After so much discussion on how the price would influence sales im wondering (via poll) how the price has influenced your buying of a new iMac. The choices are: 1) i bought before the price hike but would have bought regardless 2) i bought from apple after the price hike 3) i decided not to buy because of the price hike 4) i bought after the price hike but found a dealer selling without the extra $100 5) i bought before the price hike but wouldnt have bought if it had been $100 more
