I can't get OSX to boot on the G3 when i reboot with the C button down it won't do anything no apple logo or anything. It's 10.4 and the cd version What am I doing wrong?

I have had the same trouble on my parents computer. Is your disc a retail 10.4 disc (black with silver X)? What is your hard drive configuration? How much ram do you have? Is your ram matching or mismatched?
You may not be doing anything wrong. The B & W G3s can be finicky about using modern OSs, and especially about booting from them. I don't know why. You can try all the things like reset open firmware, reset pram, etc.
