I'm trying to mount a .dmg file of an app I recently downloaded and it goes about 3/4ths of the way through mounting and then I get this message:

Warning
The following disc images failed to mount
codec overrun

Any ideas what that's supposed to mean?
 
probably a bad file. if the image is truncuated, it would probably have that error. try downloading it again. if it still doesn't work, contact the maker/distrubing company of the software.
