not able to minimize!

in random windows, i can't minimze at all. the yellow button doesn't even glow. i don't know what the problem is, and i already reboted.

400Mhz G3 iMac

any clues to what it is?

is it a random window in a specific program? or just any program?

is it the same sort of window (like always a qt movie window) or does it happen to windows that you were able to minimize before?

it's not in any particular program, and it doesn't realy happen anymore. it happens sometimes, but i would really just want tpo know the problem.
