Especially in the case of iPods, a sales outlet is a sales outlet... Every chance they have to take advantage of another place to sell them equals more money in their pockets, which bolsters the bottom line of the whole company.
Not to mention, it opens the possibility of me getting an iPod from my wife for my birthday...

Congratulations to Apple for expanding your sales market. This can only be good news for Apple.
Did anyone see the recent Target ad, showing a child at the beginning with an iPod on his belt?
