imovie 08 importing question
i am trying to import video from my vcr through my minidv camera. the problem i am having is that sometimes in between recordings on the vhs tape there is the normal static. imovie will stop importing at this point. is there a setting i can change so that it just keeps importing until i tell it to stop ? i really don't want to be at the computer during the whole importing process to make sure it imports everything.

The static should not cause this problem because it's treated as video footage through your DV camera and has nothing to do with iMovie.
Your problem sounds more like it's related to dropped frames during the capture. If you're using your internal disk as the scratch disk, I'd suggest you use an external one connected through a Firewire port. |
