I am guessing that since Elements 5 has been out for a while and no hints/betas for the Mac version, that Adobe may skip 5 for Mac and go straight to 6 when that is ready.

OK, so has anybody got a date for that? I'm using Elements 2 on my Mac which is still great, but I really want an Intel-native version. Any help would be appreciated - any rumours anyone's picked up from the trade press etc?

I hope Premiere Elements for Mac comes out soon. There is certainly a demand for it since a lot of people seem not to be too keen on iMovie '08.
I used to use Premiere for Windows back in the day, but since I'm a Mac fanatic now I would like to give it a shot on OS X. I suppose Final Cut Express is always an option, but I don't really dig its fragmented window UI.
