iPhoto - how do I reset title numbers?

Does anyone know how to reset the title or photo numbers within iPhoto. Every time I fill my memory card I dump the photos into iPhoto and erase from my camera. Each time I do this I have another photo_000001.jpg, photo_000002.jpg.. etc. I end up with several photos with the same title name. When I go to burn a disk I get an error saying that I have more than one photo with the same title. Has anyone come across this?

i believe it's the digital camera that does this. i know my sony dsc-f717 has an option to reset the numbers if i want to or not. or perhaps your camera does not have this option, as it takes a little internal memory in the camera to keep the numbers.
