some club in nyc has an iPod night where DJs spin from them. it's taking over!

i thought it would be cool to do this

Last month my cousin got married in the Dominican Republic. While I was there I went to this Disco called the CockPit. Anyway, while i was walking around I noticed the DJ had an iPod hooked up directly into the receiver which i think powered the dance floor speakers.

I just thought that it would be a cool idea if someone, or club, held one night a week— the best ameture DJ copntest. But you could only use your iPod.

Hopefully this will catch on as a popular event. What a great marketing tool for Apple! It's a plus because it doesn't cost Apple anything!
