Apple question on Weakest Link

So I was watching Weakest Link today (the one on ABC) and one of the questions was "What computer company did Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs form in 1976?" and the woman answered "Microsoft." I was so sad!

That justice -- people should be punished for blindly conforming!

Actually, I bet she only knew the name of one computer company. If you only know one, you might as well say it.

Yeah, but MS is a software company. At least she could have said Dell or HP or Gateway. Of course, it doesn't make it right anyway.

Regards,
Gus

honestly, the sad part isnt that they didnt know steve jobs or wozniak, because many probably wouldnt. its that she answered microsoft, and we all know bill gates is that. im just more suprised she didnt remember that.

perhaps she considered how much MS has stolen over the years and decided to offer the ironic answer.

LoL I think she was intentionally bitchy. It was just a mean show to the poor contestants .. The show featured relatively easy questions, but when people are under the spotlight, it just makes it very difficult for most of them, and her job was to capitalize on that.

oh i know how she is suppose to be. i was just seeing if the bitch still did it, because that was the only reason worth watching that show.

Heh .. can't argue with you there. She was the best part. I don't think the show would be any fun without her degrading comments. But still .. answers like the one this thread is talking about (Microsoft ... hahaha) might keep the show alive ..

wow. they used to have that show over here... that was quite a while ago, i'd forgotten all about it.

i guess it just goes to show part of the reason why Apple has such a small market share.

Unfortunately, I don't think she's on any more. Now they've got a guy who manages to sound quite lame when he attempts to torment the contestants.

Well technically you are talking about several different versions of "The Weakest Link."
The Woman hosted the Hour-Long Network Broadcast version. The Guy does the half-hour, $100,000, syndicated version. Most ofter it is seen on PAX, or you'll find it on between 5 and 8 on local channels.

Yeah, I thought it might have been something like that.
Just looking at your sig TEG and I'm kinda curious why you would ever want to list Flint, MI there. I mean it's more of an embarrassment to itself than California has become to itself recently.

It's the host that makes the show. Well at least with that kind of mistake Apple got a little free advertising!

If Apple is a religion, can I apply for tax free status?
