No sound - Final Cut Express

I have captured clips in Final Cut Express, but have no sound when playing back. I do have the normal computer sounds. I'm using a Mac G4, capturing from a VCR via a Dazzle bridge. The audio meter indicates that there is sound.

Make sure youy Menu/View/Video is set to "Real Time".

It could be set to firewire - which would mean that's where your audio is going.
