Is anyone else having this problem? I usually get 1 MB/s from Apple Software Update downloads, but tonight am getting 100 kb/s max.. sometimes even slower.

Are manual downloads from their site going at full speed?
Yeah, they seem to be marginally better. But not like usual. Maybe they're getting slammed from all the recent announcements etc.. I might try when the rest of the world is asleep.

Sometimes my download icon on the dashboard jumps up and down and indicates I need to do a software update.
When I do this, the download is rediculously slow. So I turn off the computer and forget about it.
Has anyone ever waited to see just how long it takes for a software download?
At the rate mine is going (and I have cox high speed connection) it will be like 10 hours!
Any advice will be appreciated. I might be heading to the Apple Store cause my battery isn't lasting very long unconnected.
