Hi,

do they still make floppy drives?
I use 1 program that needs Windows. My accountant has a payroll/checkbook program that only comes on windows and to transfer the license, it requires a floppy. I've informed him that evenPC makers don't use floppys anymore, but anyway, are they still available???
Before I pay for VPC and Windows 2000, I'd like to know.

Thanks.
Frank

They still sell a few here in Tokyo (some of them multi-card readers including floppy), so I'm sure you'll still find one wherever you are.

I have a VST Superdisk drive that ready both floppies and 120 MB Superdisks. I haven't used it in forever though since it is so painfully slow.

check out newegg.com I got an internal floppy for $7 you can always plug it in internaly and leave it external if you don't have a spare port for it
