iPod touch can't find server in safari? (in my house)

My iPod Touch can get wifi, but I can't get it in my house. My house is set up for wifi, the touch recognizes that there is excellent signal strength, but it won't connect. Any suggestions?

well, i entered the wifi password, and it has "said" that i was connected, but when I go to safari, it always says it can't find server even though it has full signal strength. As for the other settings, i have tried to change them all, but nothing works.
