iPod touch UK Keyboard

You can turn on UK english keyboard in addition English keyboard. But both keyboard layouts appear identical & I haven't noticed any different autocorrection to english or american spelling. Anybody understand this?

go to uk keyboard and try and spell colour the american way (color) and see what it does.

Thanks. Now trying to type color, now in american colour. Nope doesn't work for me (at least in safari). Oh I don't think correction works in safari!

doesn't correct colour - oh did it this time. Really don't understand
this. Also whenever you go back into application it seems you have to choose uk English again.
