and here are some questions
1.- What word processor? Vista is a dog, but Word 07 is extremely capable for even some light DTP. In fact, the last book I put out was laid out in Word 7
2.- I've been looking at the I-works suite, and its word processor is light and probably good enough for taking notes, and even writing the great American novel, but not adecuate for a power user. What word processor would you guys recommend? Believe you me, I am a power user.
3.- As a writer I use creative suites that allow me to keep track of all aspects of a novel. I know scriverner is out there, what are the others and what are your reviews?
4.- How well do things like oh Scribus behave in the Apple Environment?
5.- I also write Role Playing Games. Anything equivalent to Profantasy CC 3 or NBOS Fractal Mapper? (That is mapping software for fantasy games)
6.- Anybody used cross over office? And how good is it?
I think I have plenty of questions.
Oh and why am I even looking at this? If you want I can tell you all the joys of installing programs on Vista... when I read the issues of installation (for former windows users), believe you me, vista users will be more familiar with these "installation glitches," except in Apple they are by design, and not by accident.
