I wanted to tryout Freehand MX, so i went to adobe's website, (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?loc=en_us&product=freehand) and after downloading the trial for mac, the downloaded file was name "FreeHandMX-en.hqx". so i double clicked it, and stuffit extracted it for me. and it became "FreeHandMX-en.sit.1". so i tried double clicking it again, and a window prompts me that there is no default application specified to open this file. ): PLEASE HELP!

i also went to windows media player to download it's mac version of the player 9 and i had the same thing occurring just that this time, it's extension is .sitx

anyone met with this problem before?

i know the usual downloads are .dmg but these are new to me.

really appreciate it if you could help! thank you in advance!

A note on Windows Media Player: That application is outdated and should NOT be installed. Even Microsoft will tell you this. You want to install Flip4Mac instead (just Google and you'll find it).
