Lack of 15" PBs Everywhere

If this has been addressed previously excuse me..

I have visited a few Apple locations lately to find that the 15" PB is no longer displayed along with its 12 and 17" siblings... at best it appears closed under a cinema display, and at some locations it was totally absent.

Also, at CompUSA today it was also totally absent. They had a 12" a 17" and the iBooks, along w/ a 1.6 Ghz G5! :)

I know there have been countless rumors about the release of the new 15" we are all dying for, but I mean Apple needs to speed this up since it is clear it is a dying product.

Waiting to switch..

yeah,... there have been reports of 15" PBs being low in stock for a couple of weeks now... and it's just spreading more and more.

i'm getting the feeling that they will be released on the 16th September, at MacWorld Paris. there was someone in the forums here saying that he's a educational reseller and that he's heard that the new PowerBooks should be here then.
