Using macos 10.1.3 on the new imac
i noticed that on column view (look at the picture) the preview of movies looks smaller,but the main problem is that it doesnt show the volume control same with mp3's. i havent changed anything,everything is almost default. has anyone else noticed this? is there a way to changes this? thanks. -cornelius
P.S. also,how can i take picture of the desktop without using grab, i remember i saw something about pressing some keys.

it's a minor flaw with column view and the quicktime plugin... the movie/file player isn't scaled correctly

try making the columns wider and it will fix this (usually) only to have the same problem on the next file
 
oh hold shift, open-apple (that's the right name!), and 3 to get a whole shot of the screen or if you hit 4, you can select the part of the screen you want to take a pic of
