iPod touch Why is apple taking so long to ship ipod touch

I'm not sure. Best Buy and Target (for 16GBs only at target) quote 1 day for shipping. You might want to try it at one of those places unless you have a coupon or gift card to Apple.
 
they are probably just backed up. Have you tried any local apple stores or best buys?

Ya but the apple store was out of 8 GB too. And i want my named engraved so i guess i gotta wait if i want that extra
