I received an excel file and I can't delete it. The message indicates it can't be deleted because it is locked. How do I unlock it so i can trash it????

Two ways:

1. Single-click and then press [apple]+[ i ]. Change permissions within the resultant Get Info... dialog box.

2. Drag the file to the Trash. Press [ option ] when you empty the Trash.
