Best BACK-UP methods??

Is Retrospect the best software solution for backing up my entire Harddrive on my iMac?

Also, what is the best hardware solution for back-up?(Ext.HD, TapeDrive, etc.). Money should also be a factor. Best for your buck.

I'm a big fan of a redundant drive. Get a firewire one of the same size & set up Carbon Copy Cloner to dupe it every night or week or whatever. At some point, you may want to archive something. CDs or DVDs are convenient, but have a higher long-term failure rate than tapes.
