OSX Desktop Wallpaper file recovery

I have a guest account on my Mac with a background image I really like. The problem is that it looks like someone deleted the actual background image, because I can't find it anymore. When I login to the account, the image is still being shown.

Does OSX have some other location outside of the user's home directory that it could be referencing to display the image? The image does not appear in the 'Change Desktop Background..." dialog box
 
Another way to get the background

You can also drag the picture of the background off of system preferences > Desktop & Screensaver! I've only tested this on OSX 10.5, so earlier verisons might not have this nifty feature.

(The image to drag is the thumbnail to the immediate left of the name of the background image. It doesn't look like a draggable control, but it is)
