Time between PowerMAC G4 and PowerBOOK G4

Does anyone know or recall the date of the first release of the G4 tower, and the release of the G4 Powerbook? I am trying to get an idea of how soon the G5 Powerbook will be available based on the time between the desktop and laptop G4.
