I just updated to 3.0b. It says that firmware 1.1.1 is recommended! I can't wait to let others go through that process so that I can follow their footsteps. (; I enjoy my hacked phone way too much to risk anything at all.

I just got the update also. Everything is more organized I like the layout!

---------------
Welcome to AppTapp Installer 3 (version 3.03b)

"This version of installer has been greatly improved on a number of fronts, including the user interface and the packaging front end.

This release uses a different core repository and firmware 1.1.1 is recommended.

Special thanks to the Community Sources maintainers and testers!"

I was just going to post the same thing... i just saw that and got very excited... but same here I kind of want to wait and see how things go with everyone else.

Are all the apps even usable on version 1.1.1?

Same here I spent too much time modding to ruin it all for nothing

Edit:
As soon as someone tries this version on 1.1.1 can they update us on what happens?

I just installed on my 1.0.2, but then the welcome screen says recommended for 1.1.1.. You should have told me earlier, with javascript or something, nullriver!

Anyways it's working fine for now on 1.0.2. See what happens.

Most of the apps work on 1.1.1

I installed 1.1.1 yesterday with the new iNdependence 1.2.4 then I manually installed AppTapp along with the alpha version of SummerBoard. I did lose my apps I had installed in 1.0.2 but the upgrade to 1.1.1 went without a hitch. I have been installing apps to test them out and like I said most work with out a problem.

here's a list from the Dev Team on what apps work with 1.1.1

I am guessing they are only releasing the new version as an update through installer.app (AppTapp) thats how I updated. It only works with 1.1.1

Maybe they might update the website later and add the new version.

Yes, rSBT in Customize works for 1.1.1

Just to let you guys know the springboard in 1.1.1 works by going side to side and not like before in 1.0.2 where it goes up and down. you can have 16 apps in each section or page as I call it.

How did you guys know that it was only for 1.1.1? Description just says new AppTapp... It appeared on my installer with 1.0.2, so I installed. It's working on 1.0.2 without problems, but I'm little concerned...

If you go to sources, it AppTapp Official, it says Firmware 1.1.1 or later reccommended, but I dont plan on upgrading until AppTapp installs itself with 1.1.1

Looks much better it is essentially the same thought. there needs to be a better method to upgrade to 1.1.1 of a already hacked 1.0.2!

so anyword of an apptapp installer to install "installer.app" on a 1.1.1 phone?

or do we have to do the downgrade jailbreak method then add it to 1.1.1...

i wish there was a 1.1.1 installer available

is this right?

I believe this is what you guys are saying?

I currently have iphone firmware 1.0.2 with installer.app installed, so what I do is download the new version of installer.app to my phone from their list and then go into itunes and click update and it will update the phone to 1.1.1 and installer will still work?

Thanks.
