I just installed XP SP2 with Boot Camp 1.4. I noticed during the installation that the computer was getting pretty warm, and I'm currently installing a game now - It's not quite cooking my legs, but it's getting a little close.

Is there any way to adjust the fan? I don't mind sacrificing silence...

I do believe there are some options...inputremapper comes to mind. Short of that, if you have smc fancontrol installed in OSX, set the fans to full speed and then restart into bootcamp with the fans still at full. They will default to full 6000rpm until you restart again.
