Defragmenting my Ipod Classic improved its perfomance!

I just defragmented my iPod Classic using the defragmenting tool in Windows XP, and I noticed that my ipod loads pictures aittle faster in cover flow. And call me me crazy, but I swear that the album art moves faster on the side also. Hasnt anybody else tried this with any substanial improvements afterwards?

Nope, you're not crazy. That's just what happens when you defragment a disc.
