Still no trackpad tap click in boot camp final?!

I've been waiting ever since the first release of boot camp beta... every release I check the changelog to see if they have put it in...

Finally i got my hands on Leopard and boot camp "final" and what do I see? Nothing major even changed from 1.4 beta. Surely it can't be THAT hard?

Discuss?

Blimey, really? That was the one thing I was hoping for as its really annoying not to have.

Are there any changes to BootCamp at all on the windows side?

I cant see any difference on the windows side from 1.4 beta. I have a feeling they just changed the version number from 1.4 to 2.0 and thats it

I noticed one thing. Before on Win XP, I would have to press Fn-F4(or F5) to change the volume. Now it can be changed by pressing just F4 or F5.

It messes with the "Alt-F4" close command. Now to close an app or window, I have to press Fn-Alt-F4. I'm not sure if there is a way to switch this around.

That was in 1.4beta already, you can change it back to normsl by clicking the diamond bootcamp icon in the system tray

Got the 2.0 drivers and the only changes I see that the num lock key works now and an option to "reboot into OS X".

So not worth an upgrade if you are mainly in the Windows side.

Both parts of that are already present in my 1.4 beta.

Vertical scrolling via the track pad in 1.4, but I just noticed horizontal scrolling via the trackpad in 2.0. That wasn't there before, was it?

I'm sad about the missing trackpad tap too.

it' s just sad that the trackpad doesn't work 100%.
but I have read somewhere that you can get the right click by putting two finger on the trackpad and using clicking.

I never noticed this since I usually use a mouse all the time...just thought I'll mention it for people who didn't know about this little tip
