Remove Detrius from Previous Mac OS X Installs
I performed a "normal" upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5 on an old laptop under the assumption that the install would remove directories associated with features that are no longer supported, i.e. Classic OS 9, Xcode 2.x, etc.
This was a bad assumption. I still have software and directories from Mac OS X 10.2, 10.3, and 10.4 on my system that are no longer needed, used, or supported. What tools or scripts are available for removing the detrius and recover the disc space? |
