Is AEBS with Gigabit Ethernet worth $30?

I was over at CompUsa today and they had the non-gigabit AEBS for $149. I bought one not realizing that Apple had recently updated the Extreme to include gigabit ethernet. I thought I was getting a great deal but I guess not so much. DO you think that having gigabit ethernet is worth paying $179 for?

Only if you have two hardwired computers with gigabit that transfer a lot of data. Otherwise they are more or less the same. In fact, with the non gigabit you can stick to the 7.1.1 firmware which behaves better with AirDisk.
