Help with Quartz Composer, please?

Hi guys I don't often venture into this part of the forum as I'm not really a programmer...

But I'm doing a BSc in 3D, and my dissertation is on automating video for real time performance. Basically, I want to make visualisers and VJ with them!

I've been poking Quartz Composer, but so far my main problem is that I can't work out a way to control what Audio input I have - it always seems to default to the internal Mic.

I found a plugin that might help here. Except it's not Leopard compatible.

So, can any of you either:

1. Suggest ways of interacting with an MP3 in QC
2. Help out with QC Plugins in making it leopard compatible? I'm sure it's quite a simple job - as far as I can see the problem is that QC has moved, but then again I'm not a programmer... QCPlugins source

Thanks in advance
