What have you plugged in to your Firewire 800 port?

Sorry, I know, another question.

But...........external hard drive, camera, ipod.....what goes in there?

My WD triple interface external drive goes into mine. DV Camera is also a likely use. But I am poor, and no DV for me.

My justifications for using my FW800 instead of a USB variant are:

It was on sale.

It is super fast.

Most importantly: It doesn't occupy any of my precious few USB ports.

Oh yeah, I also forgot: Fire Wire allows you to daisy-chain other devices down the line, at least, that's what the words on my booklet say.

I have three daisy chained FW 800 drives (500GB, 250GB, 80GB). It is very fast.

Two different backup HDs. One Lacie and one Rocstor. Both fast.
