I've looked everywhere. Ebay, Google, google again, google again, ebay again.

I'm not a neo-nazi. I'm not from the KKK. I just want a complete authentic looking Nazi uniform to wear for fun sometimes, around people who I know won't be offended by it. Is there no place to get one?

I can't see how people wouldn't be offended by that. I hope you don't find one, and grow up at the same time.

My family and the kind of people that I spend time with are more enlightened than to be offended by pieces of clothing and symbols.

Thanks for your help. If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

To each his own. Funny thing is, Hitler would have loved to kill this guy.

So then why, exactly, do you feel the need to "just walk around in one"? You have to admit it's a strange request. I do wonder if you might use the costume to scare off a few goats?

I wanted to wear it for halloween yesterday, but by the time I thought of it, it was too late. So I want to find one for next year.

Surely that is distasteful?

Isn't that my business? If it is distasteful, then i'm the one being distasteful, not you. I'm the one willing to risk offending people and getting punched in the face. I just asked if there's a way to find an authentic looking costume, but apparently you'd rather force your opinions on me or change my views. If you don't want to help me, don't post.

If you wear that for Halloween it becomes other peoples business.

This thread can only end in tears and I think you knew that before even starting it.

Try gun shows and places that specialize in war costumes.
Mostly, gun shows and events.
I warn you though, I once looked at a coat and I was figuring around $500, but there was another zero on the end when I looked at the price tag. Original Nazi gear is reaaalllllyyy expensive and you'll find there are more collectors than you might first assume.

The Nazis were humans, and the average policeman in America would do the same thing the Nazis did, if that were the orders given. Why do people have such a big issue about it? Now, I don't want to start an argument. If no ones helping me find a costume, i'll gladly have this thread closed.

I think you mean Harry ;)

His real name is Henry.

Just wondering what situation you want to wear it. May be a fancy dress party based on a 20th Century theme I could understand but "just for fun" is a little strange.

The Nazis were humans

and so was the guy in the picture below, which was take at the Topography of Terror in Berlin.

Were you that enlightened, you would have known that a thread like this could only go bad.

Since it's so hard to find an authentic nazi costume, might I suggest a white sheet?

No it's not (just) your business. If you post something like this you should not be surprised by the reaction that you get from people.

So. you're 'willing to risk offending people' are you? What sort of a risk is that exactly?

I certainly do not agree with your reasons for getting one, and do not see how anyone except neo-nazis or white supremacists would see it as fun.

That being said, I don't think you looked very hard, an image search on Google pulled up three theatrical costume stores that have the full attire.

I know your views on the matter won't change, but do keep in mind that wearing such an outfit in public is quite distasteful, rude, and ignorant. For your own sake, be careful who you wear that around.
