2.16 GHz NAPA RAM upgrade: which is slot 1?

Someone mentioned in an earlier thread to put 2GB "in slot 1" and 1GB "in slot 2" for the last generation iMacs.

Here's my memory report from system profiler: is my new 2GB card in slot 1? does it matter?
