Airport Networking and sleep

Is there anyway to have the Airport Network stay connected permenantly, or at least automatically reconnect after waking from sleep? On Startup?

Is there an applescript out there or anything?

Mine stays connected just fine using the options in System Preferences>Network:

hmm. my brother was having this problem

i can't make out the airport id, maybe that's the problem???? 😉

You need the decoder glasses. Your local Apple Store should have them. 😛

ahh, i got em. they were at the bottom of my cracker jack box. a little sticky, but they'll do.

The Airport ID is not the problem, that is the MAC address of the Airport card. You probably have selected "Join Network with the best signal" if you want it to automatically connect to you network when you come out of sleep select "Join most recently used available network" or "Join specific network"

Mine rejoins after sleep or startup, its set to join a specific named network, i.e. the houses airport, and worked straight away.

I'm fairly sure he was just joking with his post concerning the Airport ID being the problem (in reference to the blurring of the Airport ID in the above pic.)😀
