Lost Entourage Mail in Power Outage???

Hey All...quick question: After a week's vacation and not checking email, I came home and downloaded all my email. I'm using Entourage, by the way. Left the machine on last night with Entourage open and the power went out in our house and the computer went off...everything went off. This morning, I came in, booted up and everything was fine. But now I see none of the email I downloaded yesterday is there. It's as if I hadn't checked my mail since last week. And of course, those emails I did have there yesterday are now off the server.

Is there any explanation for this and is there any way I can get those messages back?

Ok, I fixed it, but I don't know how or why. But I had two identities for the account for which I lost the email. But one of them had the old stuff and all is well now....
