in the last two days ive been havin this graphical problem, what do u reckon its got to do with ???

Maybe when you installed VLC you installed an older version that has different codecs installed causing Leopard's graphics to go whacky.

yh i dunno what it is, but leopard is really starting to piss me of with its bugs, why have they got a tiger software update but nothing for leopard?

Well to be fair, if it is VLC screwing up then that is hardly Apple's fault is it?
